More OnePlus 6 images leak online, apparently showing glass back design

To be frank, there have been so many leaks, semi-leaks, official teases, hints, and even one honest-to-god censored video about OnePlus’ next flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 6, that it’s difficult to sort the information wheat from the disinformation chaff. That being said, some new photos of the OnePlus 6 seem to have leaked online, and you might want to have a peek at them.
They look ... about right? And also quite good? There’s a display notch, which we knew was coming because OnePlus preemptively defended it before promising users they could “turn it off” by changing the top notification bar to black. There’s also a dual-camera set-up on the rear and a fingerprint sensor right below it, which also gels with what we’ve seen in previous leaks. Interestingly, the back looks like glass, which suggests the OnePlus 6 couldhave wireless charging, but in no way confirms it.

Leaked images supposedly showing the OnePlus 6, via ITHome.

The specs on the screen are in Chinese, but we know from previous announcements that the OnePlus 6 will have a Snapdragon 845 processor and up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. All of which is good and basically what you’d expect from a high-end Android phone in 2018. The display is supposedly around 6 inches, while the rear-camera set-up is thought to have a 20-megapixel lens and a 16-megapixel lens.
We should note that as well as the two images above, a bunch of others have crept into the digital-information-sphere recently, including one purportedly showing the OnePlus 6 and the iPhone X side by side. However, it seems that these are fakes, because the alert slider (the physical switch that lets you put notifications on silent) appears high up on the left-hand side of the phone, whereas in official teaser images (and the leaked photos above) it’s on the right-hand side.
So, you know, ignore these photos, but also look at them if you feel like it:
An end to our collective misinformation misery will come on May 16th, when the OnePlus 6 will launch at an event in London. We will be there, taking photos, collecting specs, and putting it all online so you never have to suffer from uncertainty about the OnePlus 6 ever again.
