Making these Lemon Garlic Oven Roasted Asparagus is probably the easiest, simplest but most delicious way to cook asparagus. It requires close to no effort on your part... the oven does all the work for you!
I LOVE asparagus! I'd even say that it's one of my top favorite veggies... it certainly sits way up there on my list, right next to avocados and corn (I know, I know, that one's technically a grain, not a vegetable...)
But despite my loving them so much, I must admit that it's happened on quite a few occasions that I purchased a whole bunch of them, only to let them sit in the fridge until they were no longer fit for consumption. Why? Because I find that sometimes, they may be a bit of a pain to cook!
Well, not anymore! Now that I have discovered just how easy it is to make asparagus in the oven, this will NEVER happen again. Indeed, roasting the spears in the oven could not be easier or result in better tasting asparagus. In fact, I don't even know why I included step-by-step pictures, or instructions for that matter. This post could easily do without them and be done in 20 words or less...
But hey, pictures are always fun to look at... just as asparagus are always fun to eat (as well as fun to make, now!)
