How to Watch the Met Gala Red Carpet on Monday

The First Monday in May is upon us, which means the biggest names in the fashion industry — from designers to models to "It" girls and well-dressed celebs — are getting buffed, polished and overly done-up in preparation for Anna Wintour's invite-only event, famously known as the Met Gala. This year's dress code is "Sunday Best," a reference to the exhibit that the party honors, "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination." If you're anything like us, then you're anxiously waiting on the edge of your seats, eager to see how the hand-selected guests (and anyone willing to drop $30,000 for a ticket) interpret the Vatican-approved theme. In the meantime, we've compiled a handy guide of how to keep up with all the red carpet happenings so you can enjoy the glamorous party, also known as fashion prom and the meme superbowl, from the comfort of your own home.
Vogue will stream live across its social accounts
Vogue (@voguemagazine) will have exclusive content across its website and social accounts. The publication will stream an Instagram Live as stars walk the steps of the Met around 6 p.m. and will feature celebrity interviews on its Instagram Stories. Vogue's Twitter and Facebook accounts will also provide minute-to-minute updates on all red carpet happenings.
E! to broadcast "Live From the Red Carpet: The 2018 Met Gala"
For the third year in a row, E! will broadcast its Met Gala show not on the red carpet, exactly, but a few blocks south at 30 Rockefeller Plaza. Giuliana Rancic, celebrity fashion stylist Brad Goreski, former Teen Vogue editor Elaine Welteroth and Zanna Roberts Rassi will offer their signature fashion commentary as the elaborate red carpet plays out beginning at 6:30 p.m. EST/PST. E! will also present complementary additional coverage featuring Paper Magazine's Drew Elliott and fashion expert Tiffany Reid streaming on Facebook Live, E! Online, the E! mobile app, Apple News and Youtube starting at 6:30 p.m. EST/PST with a first-look at the A-list guests.
We'll be sure to update this list should any additional options arise, but in the meantime, make sure to check back here for all our live Met Gala coverage.
